Parentingplus seeks to work within the community to provide support, encouragement and parenting skills through informal groups and one-to-one work. The materials used on the courses are published by the Family Caring Trust.
We are increasingly developing links with local health visitors, social workers and other professionals who recommend the groups and refer one-to-one work to us. As a result, we are now seeing an increase in people coming on recommendation because friends and colleagues have told them about the groups.
