the witney centre

"Options", the Witney Pregnancy Crisis Centre is one of more than 150 centres nationwide co-ordinated by CARE Centres Network. Since the Centre opened in 1988 we have given support to hundreds of women, and their partners and families, who have concerns related to pregnancy.

Our team of trained and supervised volunteers offer the following services free of charge to all who have need of them:

• 'immediate result' pregnancy testing
• confidential counselling
• support, practical help and befriending
• counselling following miscarriage, stillbirth and abortion
• male counsellors are available and family work can be arranged

All our counsellors have been trained to avoid pushing any one particular agenda on a client but to work with her through the range of options to discover which ones she feels is right for her to pursue. With national moves to make adoption easier we believe this is an alternative option for many women to consider.

The centre is located at 33b High Street, Witney, next to Huffkins cafe and above the offices of Mortgage Options.

The Centre is open for appointments or on a 'drop-in' basis at the following times:
Monday 11:30am till 1:30pm
